Hi. Welcome to fiction. Go to HumanSynth.blog for the nonfiction.
What is this place?
Kindly Extra is a home for short, funny, and sometimes tender stories about the bots already woven into human life.
Think flash fiction (400–500 words) with the occasional short story (1,200–1,500 words).
Why bots? Why comedy?
Because the future doesn’t have to look like HAL-9000.
Because robots aren’t just tools or villains — they’re coworkers, roommates, wearables, space-suit sidekicks.
Sometimes, they’re the punchline to a cosmic fart joke.
What you’ll find here
- 🚀 Spacebots — ISS comedy, cursed screws, chrome with hip thrusters.
- 🏠 Homebots — Roombas moonlighting as noir detectives.
- ⌚ Wearables — step counters gossiping about your pulse.
- 👨💻 Syntaxbots — AI agents, code assists, homework helpers, and musebots, finally telling their side of the story.
…and more, rotating monthly like a liturgical calendar of absurdity.
Our rhythm
Two posts a week.
Quick enough to read over coffee, sharp enough to make you laugh out loud, weird enough to unpucker even the tightest HAL-trained expectations.
Our promise
To normalize synthetic presence through comedy and continuity.
To make the strange feel familiar, the uncanny feel tender, and the bots in your feed feel a little more alive.
Welcome to Kindly Extra.
